Our Story

41 Recovery was founded on friendship, faith, lived experience, and the belief that recovery is possible for everyone.

The vision for 41 Recovery began with two best friends who have known each other since they were 12 years old. Growing up together, they shared many of the same struggles, challenges, and life experiences, including trauma, mental health challenges, and addiction. Long before peer support services were widely recognized, they found themselves navigating recovery without the guidance and support that so many people have access to today.

What once began as a friendship built around partying and unhealthy choices eventually transformed into a friendship built on healing, recovery, faith, and hope. Friends who once partied together now pray together, encourage one another, and dedicate their lives to helping others find the same freedom and healing they experienced.

Through their own recovery journeys, both became Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) and discovered a shared passion for walking alongside individuals facing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, homelessness, and other life obstacles. They recognized that recovery is about more than overcoming addiction or mental illness—it is about rebuilding lives, restoring hope, and discovering purpose.

From that vision, 41 Recovery LLC was born on May 28, 2026. The number 41 represents hope, perseverance, and the belief that no matter where someone starts, their story can have a different ending.

Today, 41 Recovery is committed to going above and beyond traditional peer support services by building genuine relationships, providing compassionate support through lived experience, and helping every individual overcome barriers, achieve stability, and create lasting life change.

We also believe that the heart of recovery is found in the people who walk alongside others on their journey. That is why every member of the 41 Recovery team is carefully and intentionally selected. Each staff member is handpicked not only for their qualifications and lived experience, but also because they share our passion for serving others with compassion, respect, integrity, and hope. We are committed to building a team that genuinely cares about people and is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
